Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of GroupBooth, a product of BillCore LLC ("GroupBooth," "we," "us"). By creating an account, purchasing a plan, or using the platform — including the QR memory hub and AI Caricature Booth — you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use GroupBooth.

1. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to create a GroupBooth account. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

2. The service

GroupBooth provides a private, QR-code-accessible memory hub for collecting photos, videos, audio, and messages at events, together with an AI Caricature Booth that generates stylized images from guest selfies. Features, art styles, and limits may change over time as we improve the platform.

3. Plans, credits & billing

GroupBooth is sold as event plans that include a number of AI caricature credits plus a period of memory hub access. Current plans, prices, credit allotments, and access periods are shown on our pricing page and at checkout, which are incorporated into these Terms.

  • Caricature credits are consumed each time the AI Caricature Booth generates an image. Credits included with a plan are tied to that event and that access period.
  • Payment is collected at purchase through our third-party payment processor. You authorize us to charge your selected payment method for the plan you choose.
  • Access period — each paid plan includes a stated period of hub access (currently one year from purchase). After it ends, access to the hub and its content may be discontinued.
Confirm with counsel: whether unused caricature credits expire, whether plans auto-renew, and how overage (using more caricatures than a plan includes) is handled and billed. State each explicitly here to match your Stripe configuration.

4. Free trial

We may offer a free trial (currently 3 days, including a small number of complimentary caricature credits). Trials are for evaluation, may be limited in features, and may be modified or withdrawn at any time. We may limit trials to one per customer.

5. Refunds

Because plans include AI generation that incurs real processing cost and immediate access to the platform, fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law. If something goes wrong on our end, contact us at info@groupbooth.com and we'll work with you in good faith to make it right.

Confirm with counsel: set your actual refund policy here (for example, a satisfaction window before any credits are used). Consumer-protection rules in some jurisdictions require specific refund rights that override a blanket no-refund clause.

6. Your content & AI output

Content you and your guests upload

You and your guests retain ownership of the photos, videos, audio, messages, and selfies uploaded to a hub ("Content"). You grant GroupBooth a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, process, transmit, and display that Content solely to operate the service for you — including sending selfies to our AI provider to generate caricatures.

AI-generated caricatures

Caricatures created by the AI Caricature Booth are generated from a guest's submitted photo. As between you and GroupBooth, you may use the caricatures generated for your event for personal and ordinary event-related purposes. AI-generated output can be unpredictable and may contain imperfections; it is provided "as is."

Attorney review required — AI output rights. Ownership and licensing of AI-generated images depend on your AI provider's terms and on developing law around AI-created works. Counsel should confirm what rights you can actually grant users in the caricatures, and what your provider's terms permit, then reconcile this section accordingly.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to use GroupBooth to upload or generate content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, or that depicts a person without the rights or consent needed to do so. You may not attempt to misuse the AI Caricature Booth to create deceptive, harmful, or impersonating imagery, to reverse-engineer the platform, or to interfere with its operation. We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

8. Host responsibilities

If you create and run an event hub, you are the controller of that event. You are responsible for:

  • Obtaining any consent legally required from your guests before collecting their photos, recordings, or AI caricatures.
  • How the hub is configured, who can access it, and how collected content is used after the event.
  • Complying with all laws applicable to your event and your use of guest content, including biometric and privacy laws where they apply.

9. Intellectual property

The GroupBooth platform, including its software, design, logos, and the "GroupBooth" name, is owned by BillCore LLC and protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms don't grant you any right to our branding except as needed to use the service normally.

10. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

GroupBooth is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI output will meet your expectations.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BillCore LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of GroupBooth. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid us for the event plan giving rise to the claim.

Attorney review required: liability caps, warranty disclaimers, indemnification, and any arbitration/class-action-waiver and governing-law/venue provisions should be drafted by counsel to be enforceable in your jurisdiction.

11. Termination

You may stop using GroupBooth at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, misuse the service, or as needed to comply with law. On termination, your right to use the service ends; certain provisions (such as ownership, disclaimers, and liability limits) survive.

12. Changes, governing law & contact

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, communicated through the service. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, except where superseded by applicable mandatory law.
